If you'd like to chat with me about helping you breakthrough in your business, simply go to speak to p two.com. That speak to pete.com to book an appointment and to see if we're a right fit. Welcome to the business owner breakthrough and many of you already know that I am a shoe store owner we own a couple of shoe stores here in Ontario called shoe topia, and I do a lot of work for the National shoe Retailers Association. I do a lot of writing for them. I coach various groups, I do some speaking at different events. But basically one of the things that I do is write in their trade publication every couple of months. And I'm putting together this article and I called it the retailer's manifesto. But as I looked through this manifesto, I thought you know what, I am going to share this on the business owner breakthrough as well. Because whether you're a retailer or whether you're a plumber, or whether you're an accountant, we have so many different business owners, listening to the business owner breakthrough that most of the points here in the retailers manifesto come true for almost any business owner. So what I'm going to do is I'm just going to list out all of these key points in the retailers manifesto. So that gives you something to think about for your business. Remember, when I'm talking through these points, you want to be thinking about how you can use this within your business, whether you're a retailer or not. So here we go. It's the retailers manifesto. In a world of constant evolution, where consumer expectations shift with the wind and brands rise and fall with the tides of innovation. We the Vanguard's of retail declare the following principles as the foundation of enduring success. Number one is promised to our customers. Above all, our compass points to you, our cherished customers, we vow to seek understanding to anticipate desires to exceed expectations, and to craft experiences that linger in memories. Number two is the pursuit of unwavering quality. We commit to a relentless journey towards excellence. Every product every service and every encounter shall not just meet standards, but set them number three is the promise of genuine value. beyond mere transactions, we aim for enriching exchanges. Every price tag reflects our solemn promise of uncompromised value. Number four is the perseverance in fluidity in the fluid sands of the market trends and consumer desires, we stand agile, ready to adapt, reinvent and flourish. Number five is the principle of Lean mastery. Our every operation from the storeroom to the checkout is a testament to efficiency, a symphony of streamline processes. Next is the passion for the novel. Complacency is our sworn enemy. We pledge allegiance to innovation, welcoming the new while cherishing the timeless. Next is the power of the engaged our employees are our ambassadors, our frontline warriors, their growth, engagement and fulfillment are central to our quest. Then we have the presence across realms, boundaries blur between the digital and physical, we strive for omnipresence, crafting seamless journeys across all touchpoints precision through knowledge. Data is our guiding star. In its wisdom, we find clarity making decisions that resonate, inspire and personalize path to integrity. We walk the path of ethics, transparency and sustainability. Trust is our currency and we earn it with every transaction, partnership with the community, rooted in our communities we thrive By lifting them, we recognize our role and responsibility to give back and connect and create positive ripples throughout the persistence in the art of attraction. The world shall hear our tales through timeless marketing, compelling stories and genuine connection. We draw hearts closer with our cause. For in these principles, we see the future of retail, luminous and boundless. Together as retailers, as consumers as communities, we move forward, forging a legacy built on these tenants, and that is the retailer's manifesto, at least how I see it anyway. And like I said, even if you aren't a retailer, I think there are some key points in here that will be relevant for every single business owner. Think about how you're changing this, what you're doing to live up to something like the retailer's manifesto and your business every day because it then becomes the guiding principles, the clarity that you need to go out and make the best decisions for your business. Remember, you own your business and it shouldn't own you and if you have ultimate clarity on what it is that your business is doing and how you're helping your clients through their promise to a better life, then you as the business owner will also enjoy a better life. Now go and make it a great day.
